Alongside helps people discover workout partners, activity buddies, and local movement opportunities. We may offer profile creation, location-based discovery, city search, workout requests, messaging, scheduling, waitlist access, and related tools.

Alongside does not guarantee matches, responses, meetups, availability, compatibility, or outcomes. We provide a platform experience, not a promise that any connection will happen or continue.

4. Community standards and acceptable use

• Use Alongside respectfully and lawfully.
• Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, or impersonate other people.
• Do not submit false, misleading, or deceptive information.
• Do not post spam, promotions, malware, scrapers, or any content intended to disrupt the service.
• Do not use Alongside for unsafe activity coordination, illegal conduct, or conduct that creates unreasonable risk for other members.
• Do not copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service except as allowed by law.

5. Profiles, workout requests, and user content

You are responsible for the content you submit, including profiles, photos, messages, availability, workout requests, and any tags or descriptions you post. You represent that you have the rights needed to share that content and that it does not violate the law or anyone else's rights.

You grant Alongside a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, moderate, and promote the service. You keep ownership of your content, subject to the rights granted in these terms.

6. Safety, health, and offline interactions

Alongside is not a medical service, coaching provider, emergency service, or background-check service. You are responsible for making your own decisions about physical activity, personal safety, transportation, and meeting other people offline.

Before meeting someone, use good judgment. Choose public locations when appropriate, confirm details carefully, and do not participate in activities beyond your ability or comfort level. If you have any medical concerns, consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing a fitness routine.

7. Future paid features

Alongside may introduce paid plans or premium features later. If that happens, pricing, billing terms, and any renewal terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, paid features are optional and separate from these core website terms.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Alongside if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for other people, exposed the service to legal or operational harm, or used the platform in a way that undermines trust or safety. We may also modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The Alongside service, including our branding, visual design, text, software, and original content, is owned by Alongside or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service in accordance with these terms, no rights are granted to you.

Alongside is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alongside and its affiliates, founders, team members, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time as Alongside evolves. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the service after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
